If using the Arccos Golf Smart Sensors, the LINK is the way to go. Instead of keeping your phone in your pocket, just clip on your belt belt for worry free shot tracking. With the phone you get missed shots or somebody calls and it will throw it all off. With the LINK, missed shots are rare, can use the phone for other things, while still having the on screen GPS shot tracking. I definitely prefer it.
Couple of tips though, when done charging, turn the LINK off. It turns on when you charge, but doesn't turn off after disconnecting if it was on when you started charging. Took me a few trips to the course to figure that out (or can always read the instructions lol). Also can get more exact pin placements by pressing the button on the LINK when standing next to the flag. It will recalc your shot to that pin placement when you do your after game review. LINK only works with Gen 2 or 3 sensors. Charging cord (usb micro) is included.
"All and all" two thumbs up if you like the Arccos sensors
PS: the Dude abides and is all about sustainability, so we will reuse packaging when possible or ship in original boxes. No need to waste a tree to double box something when not necessary.
