About the Author
Rick Heard is a PGA teaching professional and is co-owner of the Don Law Golf Academy in Boca Raton, Florida. The academy specializes in teaching juniors, and has hundreds of junior golfers in its classes and camps in four South Florida locations. He is a past winner of the chapter PGA Junior Golf Leader of the Year and is a two-time winner of the chapter PGA Horton Smith Education award. He is also a co-founder and partner with ParKit Golf, which creates innovative teaching tools and materials to make junior golf classes and camps both fun and educational. Rick was president of the Southeast Chapter of the South Florida Section PGA for six years ending in 2012, and was awarded the chapter’s Golf Professional of the Year award for 2010. Prior to becoming a PGA golf professional, Rick enjoyed a 22-year business career in research, computer programming, technical writing, and marketing.

About the Instructor
Eric Eggleston has been a member of the PGA of America since 1996. He has been the Head Golf Professional at Cree Meadows Country Club in Ruidoso, New Mexico for 11 years. He has served on his PGA sections board of directors as Junior Golf Chairman and has received the Sun Country Section PGA Junior Golf Leader award three times. Eggleston is currently head boys golf coach for Ruidoso High School. He has been involved with the team for over 11 years and has coached them to 3 state championships.
