J.L. Taylor and Co Large Salesman Sample Book 1919 Fabric Spring Summer
This is an amazing piece of textile history...
Measuring 23" high x 17" wide x 2" deep, this giant salesman's book holds 52 card stock pages of amazing art and hundreds of fabric swatches from the Spring and Summer collection of 1919. It weighs over 15 lbs!
The binding is damaged. There is some water damage and discoloration. Some swatches have come loose or been removed as fabrics stopped being offered. Also included are two pieces of correspondence to the Burdett clothing store in Piedmont SC.
