Lowrey Organ Volume (Expression) Pedal
Pictured and offered for your consideration a volume pedal taken from an organ we recently recycled for its parts.
Pedal worked fine at time of the organs demise.
Lowrey has used the same basic design for expression pedals for a long time.
When the Lowrey Sterling was introduced there was a production problem in the expression pedals where a piece of plastic breaks and the pedal falls to full volume and won't stay in an upright position for lower volume.
As an authorized Lowrey dealer I can report we replaced almost half the expression pedals in the following models we sold new … Sterling, Patriot and Liberty.
Because the design is similar you can purchase one of these previous model expression pedals and swap out the electronics from your Sterling, Patriot or Liberty and just use the plastic parts. It takes a little time, but we've used these in many instances for the following reasons ...
1. We have them in stock
2. Kawai charges much more for their replacement
3. Kawai is running out of parts
For all these reasons if you have a Lowrey Sterling A-5500 or a Patriot A-5500P or a Liberty SE-6500 you might consider purchasing one of these to keep a a spare.
