Description
The Matala Power Cyclone Pond Vacuum is made for continuous use with a suction of up to 1500 gph. However,
after
15 to 20 minutes you will want to shut off the vacuum for 5 minutes
so the pumps can cool down and not over heat. During that time emptying the debris bag may be necessary.
The advantage to the cyclone vacuum is the 1 HP pump that will push out dirty water uphill up to 18'. It is recommended that to pump sludge only 3' to 4' for best results. There is a mesh net inside the unit to collect debris, and the dirty pond water comes into the canister. It comes with an inlet and outlet hose, a 6' plastic extension pipe, squeegee nozzle, crevice tool, transparent nozzle and round brush. Stainless steel extensions of 18" each and additional discharge hose can be purchased separately.
