Original German WWI M1917 Mail Home Helmet

Up for sale is a very nice and original German WWI M17 or M1917 steel combat helmet, complete with its original mail home sticker and stamps! This German helmet is a very honest example, complete with its original factory finish, as well as both chinstrap hooks, and liner band. Interestingly, the exterior shell shows 2 mail home stickers, and pieces of the original stamps used to mail the helmet home from the front lines. Mail home labels are indicative of battlefield pick ups, sent back as souvenirs. This helmet is truly a textbook example and would be a center piece of any WWI collectors collections!
