INCLUDED:
Two (2) maroon stretch velvet strips that measure ½ inches wide and 19 inches long (folds over so that 1/4" is on inside of eye-hood and 1/4" on outside), Elmer's 28 Oz extra-strength glue stick (for domestic purchases only) and a stick glue applicator.
PREPARATION:
Clean edge of stereoscope eye-hood and remove any residual glue.  If the eye-hood is made of metal, you can restore its original shiny luster by buffing with light steel wool prior to installing the velvet.
INSTALLATION:
This is an easy operation that should take only a few minutes.  Begin by applying a liberal 1/4" swath of the paste-like glue along the outside edge of the eye-hood. Begin by attaching the velvet at the left side of the nose recess, softly applying the strip to the very edge of the hood. Let dry.  Then use the stick glue applicator to apply glue to the inside of the eye-hood. Fold over the strip to the inner surface. Continue this procedure to the starting-point, trimming off the excess with small scissors.  Let the velvet dry for about ½ hour prior to use.
