Description

WWI German Prussian Lobstertail Pickelhaube Spiked Helmet. The steel body is solid but does have a few dings-dents. Stamped steel wappen of the Prussian eagle with a banner that reads "Mit Gott Fur Koenig Und Vaterland". One nut missing from the spike base. Both cockades are in good condition. Missing the chinstrap. There is a "57" stamped on the back underside edging indicating the size. Marks inside include "1916", "?old??leiss", and other illegible makers marks. Leather liner is intact but does have a couple tears. Measures roughly 10" tall, 11" front to back, and 8 1/2" side to side.
